Embark on an extraordinary Mallorca cycling holiday designed for road cyclists seeking the perfect blend of exhilarating rides, scenic landscapes, and cultural exploration. Renowned as a haven for road cycling enthusiasts, Mallorca offers an array of challenging routes that traverse the island's diverse terrain, captivating coastal towns, and historic landmarks.

Heart of Mallorca Cycling Journey: Begin your adventure with an arrival in Palma de Mallorca, swiftly transferring to the tranquil town of Santanyí. Seamlessly transition into your cycling experience with a brief ride to the pristine beaches of S'Amarador in the Parc Natural de Mondragó. Your stay at Cal Reiet Holistic Retreat or the premium Hotel Can Ferrereta establishes the foundation for an unforgettable Mallorca cycling holiday. Explore the island's central regions, ascending to the San Salvador Sanctuary for panoramic views, as you venture from Santanyí to Sineu. Discover Sineu's quaint city center before retiring to the premium cycling retreat of Hotel Can Joan Capó or the refined Finca Serena.

Eastern Coastal Treasures and Iconic Climbs. Transition to the eastern coast on a ride from Sineu to Pollença, winding through the Binissalem wine country and ascending towards Bunyola and Orient. Revel in the coastal allure of Pollença, where Hotel Hoposa Pollentia or the luxurious Hotel Son Brull awaits. Challenge yourself on a short but iconic ride to Cap Formentor, soaking in the breathtaking coastal views and conquering renowned climbs.

Mountain Majesty and Coastal Exploration. Embark on the most challenging yet spectacular ride of your Mallorca cycling holiday, navigating the Tramontana Mountain range from Port de Soller to Port Soller. Conquer the mythical Sa Calobra ascent, choosing optional routes for seasoned riders, and relish a well-deserved rest at the end of your journey. On your final riding day, engage in Coastal Cultural Exploration and Rugged Landscapes. Explore the rugged northern coast, a UNESCO world heritage site, with a journey to Deià, Galilea, and beyond. Ascend Coll de Soller, explore Valdemossa, and the Carthusian Monastery, concluding your cycling adventure at Finca Hotel Son Pont or the premium Grand Hotel Son Net.

Culinary Revelry and Vinous Delights

Amidst the invigorating rides, indulge in Mallorca's gastronomic wonders, where traditional Mediterranean flavors intertwine with innovative culinary creations. Immerse yourself in the island's diverse culinary scene, from seaside taverns serving freshly caught seafood to quaint mountain bistros offering authentic Mallorcan specialties. Complementing this culinary journey, savor the renowned local wines, especially those from the Binissalem wine country. A sip of the robust reds and crisp whites mirrors the island's rich terroir, enhancing the overall sensory experience of your Mallorca cycling holiday.

Secluded Pebble Beaches and Mediterranean Bliss

Beyond the thrill of cycling, Mallorca beckons with its hidden treasures—small pebble beaches framed by turquoise waters along the coastline. After exhilarating rides, unwind on these serene shores, where the Mediterranean Sea offers a refreshing embrace. Feel the warmth of the golden sun, listen to the gentle lapping of the waves, and revel in the tranquil ambiance of these secluded spots. Whether basking in the sun's glow or dipping into the crystal-clear waters, these small pebble beaches provide a perfect respite, adding a touch of coastal magic to your Mallorca cycling adventure.

Day to Day:

What you'll be experiencing everyday

Day 1: Arrival in Palma de Mallorca - transfer to Santanyí

Pick up from the airport of Palma for a transfer to your hotel in Sineu. Tour briefing and bike setup. Optional ride to test the bikes on a short ride to the secluded beaches of S'Amarador in the Parc Natural de Mondragó. Night at your Hotel –  Cal Reiet Holistic Retreat or Hotel Can Ferrereta ("premium" option)

Day 2: Ride from Santanyì to Sineu, via Sanctuary of Sant Salvador - 62km and 980m of total climbing

Breakfast at your hotel; Today you'll start riding north, towards the island's geographical center, via the San Salvador Sanctuary. This ride will take you through the flats and hills of the south part of the island, characterized by rolling hills and a rural landscape. The sole climb of the day is to the Sanctuary de La Mare de Déu de Sant Salvador - a winding road, that leads to a hilltop church and former monastery located at 510m above the sea, from where you'll be able to view all the south and central part of the island. On the way back you'll pass the villages of Manacor and Petra before heading to your hotel in Sineu. Make sure to explore Sineu's quaint city center and magnificent Matrix church. Hotel – Hotel Can Joan Capó or Finca Serena ("premium" option)

Day 3: Ride from Sineu to Pollença - 90km and 850m of total climbing

Breakfast at your hotel; On today's ride you'll leave the central area of the island to get to the eastern coast. You'll start riding north to the Binissalem wine country that's located on the foothills of the mountain range. You'll tackle the hills up to Bunyola and Orient on a semi-loop though this lovely wine region right till after Alaró where you'll start heading east and downhill towards the coast and to the town of Pollença, where your hotel is located. Hotel – Hotel Hoposa Pollentia or Hotel Son Brull ("premium" option)

Day 4: Loop ride from Pollença to Cap Formentor - 50km and 800m climbing

Breakfast at your hotel; Today is a short but by no means easy ride ride from Pollença to the Easternmost point of the island, the magnificent Cap Formentor. This is one of the iconic rides while cycling Mallorca. From Pollença you'll ride to seaside Port Pollença village and then along the coast to the Formentor peninsula. As you leave the coast you'll have the first of 2 climbs to the cape. At the end of the first downhill section you'll pass the beautiful Formentor Beach and then face the climb that will take you to the cape. Enjoy the views and on the way back we suggest a detour to Calla San Vicenç, a magnificent little village, beach and bay, a great place to have lunch too before heading back to Pollença to your hotel. Hotel – Hotel Hoposa Pollentia or Hotel Son Brull ("premium" option)

Day 5: Ride from Pollença to Port Soller - up to 80km and 2000m total climbing ( including Sa Calobra climb)

Breakfast at your hotel; Today's ride will be the one with the most climbing but also the most special of your Majorca cycling holidays. This ride will have you tackle the Tramontana Mountain range towards Port Soller with a passage in the mythic Sa Calobra. From the start you'll have a long climb of 20km until Gorg Blau where you'll turn right towards Sa Calobra,  where the downhill section to seaside Sa Calobra starts - this is an optional section, suggested only for experienced riders. Have a break and a snack to prepare to get back and ride this picture perfect climb with its narrow roads and switchbacks that will take you back to the Gorg Blau and Cuber, the end of today's climbing. From here on you just have to enjoy a loooong downhill section that will get you to your hotel in Port de Soller for a deserved rest. Hotel – Hotel Espléndido Soller or Jumeirah Port Soller ("premium" option)

Day 6: Ride from Port de Soller - Deià - Galilea - 47km and 1400m total climbing (shorter ride) OR Port de Soller - Deià - Andratx - Galilea - 77km and 2400m total climbing

Breakfast at your hotel; On this last riding day you'll be able to explore a bit more of the rugged northern coast of the island, and the cultural landscape that made it a UNESCO world heritage site. Start by riding up to Coll de Soller and enjoy the downhill section that will take you back to the southern foothills of the mountain range in Brunyola. From here you'll ride up to the coast to Valdemossa, where you'll be able to stop for a mid ride cafe nearby the epic Carthusian Monastery, and then return to the coast, enjoying the quite roads of the northeastern Tramuntana. Mid ride, you'll be able to shorten your ride by riding directly to Galilea, one of the island's hidden gems, or keep riding by the coast, via Estellencs, towards Andratx, before riding to Galilea. Hotel – Finca Hotel Son Pont or Grand Hotel Son Net ("premium" option).

Day 7: Transfer from Galilea/Puigpunyent - Palma

Breakfast at your hotel; At the scheduled time transfer to Palma Airport.
