Pick up from the airport of Palma for a transfer to your hotel in Sineu. Tour briefing and bike setup. Breakfast at your hotel; Today you'll start riding north, towards the island's geographical center, via the San Salvador Sanctuary. This ride will take you through the flats and hills of the south part of the island, characterized by rolling hills and a rural landscape. The sole climb of the day is to the Sanctuary de La Mare de Déu de Sant Salvador – a winding road, that leads to a hilltop church and former monastery located at 510m above the sea, from where you'll be able to view all the south and central part of the island. On the way back you'll pass the villages of Manacor and Petra before heading to your hotel in Sineu. Make sure to explore Sineu's quaint city center and magnificent Matrix church. Breakfast at your hotel; On today's ride you'll leave the central area of the island to get to the eastern coast. You'll start riding north to the Binissalem wine country that's located on the foothills of the mountain range. You'll tackle the hills up to Bunyola and Orient on a semi-loop though this lovely wine region right till after Alaró where you'll start heading east and downhill towards the coast and to the town of Pollença, where your hotel is located. Breakfast at your hotel; Today is a short but by no means easy ride ride from Pollença to the Easternmost point of the island, the magnificent Cap Formentor. This is one of the iconic rides while cycling Mallorca. From Pollença you'll ride to seaside Port Pollença village and then along the coast to the Formentor peninsula. As you leave the coast you'll have the first of 2 climbs to the cape. At the end of the first downhill section you'll pass the beautiful Formentor Beach and then face the climb that will take you to the cape. Enjoy the views and on the way back we suggest a detour to Calla San Vicenç, a magnificent little village, beach and bay, a great place to have lunch too before heading back to Pollença to your hotel. Breakfast at your hotel; Today's ride will be the one with the most climbing but also the most special of your Majorca cycling holidays. This ride will have you tackle the Tramontana Mountain range towards Port Soller with a passage in the mythic Sa Calobra. From the start you'll have a long climb of 20km until Gorg Blau where you'll turn right towards Sa Calobra, where the downhill section to seaside Sa Calobra starts – this is an optional section, suggested only for experienced riders. Have a break and a snack to prepare to get back and ride this picture perfect climb with its narrow roads and switchbacks that will take you back to the Gorg Blau and Cuber, the end of today's climbing. From here on you just have to enjoy a loooong downhill section that will get you to your hotel in Port de Soller for a deserved rest. Breakfast at your hotel; On this last riding day you'll be able to explore a bit more of the rugged northern coast of the island, and the cultural landscape that made it a UNESCO world heritage site. Start by riding up to Coll de Soller and enjoy the downhill section that will take you back to the southern foothills of the mountain range in Brunyola. From here you'll ride up to the coast to Valdemossa, where you'll be able to stop for a mid ride cafe nearby the epic Carthusian Monastery, and then return to the coast, enjoying the quite roads of the northeastern Tramuntana. Mid ride, you'll be able to shorten your ride by riding directly to Galilea, one of the island's hidden gems, or keep riding by the coast, via Estellencs, towards Andratx, before riding to Galilea. Mixed terrain, mostly composed of non technical paths, asphalted back roads, and some single tracks alongside water canals. Some sections are ridden by the cliffs, with some occasional sand in certain seasons.
