Joined a group of Spanish mates yesterday for a run to Trevelez for the G M Iberos 2nd Reunion Motera rally.
Trevelez is the highest village in Spain apparently. Its up the Guadolfo valley in the Alpajurras on the south side of the Sierra Nevada.  Its about 200Ks from Malaga along the A7 to Motril.  Take the Granada road at Salobrena and turn off onto the A346 and head for Orgiva, nice place for a break.  Take the A7210 to Trevelez which is a new tarmac road full of  tight hairpins, blind bends etc.  Took it steady going up as there were a lot of bikes about but coming back was totally different as I practically had the road to myself.   I was on the 1098 so the bike felt better without the rest of the pack. Excellent day out and  the views are something else. Very demanding if you want to do it quick but you can break it up into sections and stop at the villages along the way.
One great day out. Grin
