I have been looking through posts, responses to posts, and lack of them, i started this forum as a place for other like minded people ((bikers)) to join and discuss biking, and general topics  . But above all to start up a motorcycle club, but it seems as though i am flogging a dead horse  ???i have put a lot time and money trying to get off the ground with this and i am tired of the negativity and the argumentative responses to posts that seem to be creeping in, Shocked i assumed once people had registered  they would log in even if only a couple of times a week to see whats happening, put up a post maybe tell a joke, share a biking hint, tell every one about a special route, favorite eating places, bike meets , ideas for a ride e.t.c., but due to the lack of commitment i am assuming there are few bikers out there who want the same, looking at the posts its the same 3 or 4 putting up posts and replying to other posts, and the same bikers who actually  turn up for a run. To ride out once or twice a month and have a social meeting once or twice a month doesnt seem a lot to ask, but it needs members.
I really want the club to be up and running but i do need support,it isnt viable to think of t shirts, track days, e.t.c. if there are only 6 people prepared to commit, i cant negotiate for club discounts at bars, shops, garages e.t.c without members and 6 members isnt enough to make any difference.
So this is a last attempt at trying to raise enough interest to form a club with members. so if you want it put your name here,

put my name down, just let me know the time and place.  Have you heard of the bar on the poligono in Alhaurin De La Torre called Diego's? The guy does food,it's also a bowling alley and he's a spanish biker, so maybe he might be worth speaking to for a meeting place?

More positive thoughts, Put me down as a member, Ideas about activities and T-shirts are good but like Terry say´s first off a meeting place where you can get a coffee before the rideout, it is fine by me where ever it is.  Can we agree if a rideout is organised, then members who wish to attend let the ride organiser know they are going via the forum, email or mobile text, if anyone else comes along it´s a bonus.

I´d like to be counted in. Grin
Zorro, Usually a ride out is posted on the forum and a reader can then reply to say they are going.. I didnt see anything last Saturday and was also told that there wasnt a ride.( I will have to slap that person who told me.)
Terry will the info be posted as before or would you like us to phone you sat eves? (Mind you it may not be sociable to inundate ya with calls and thats the point of the forum eh for info. Seemed to have worked before thanks.)
On the meeting place, why not meeting at the green building any more? Having coffe first could mean more potty stops needed and less riding getting done. Shocked  Could end up at the coffe shop after a ride.?? Or have I got it all wrong. Is there a seperate meeting on a different day to a ride out. Geez its hard to navigate around the forum sometimes as things are all over the place. (go on, pick me to navigate the next ride out LOL) My internet tab is now 6€
Directions please from the green building to Cartama Pueblo and the Bar suggested.

Responding from far away England. You guys live in bikers heaven from the experience of my one week over on Terry&Micheles tours. Make the most of it, you only live once, a vibrant bike club would be superb in such a perfect location.

Sorry i havent replied sooner, had to make a mad dash back to the uk (mums in a bad way) and i cant even remember if i turned the gas and electric off before i left ronda, however it looks like i will be back home in spain again around the 10th of july, and would be happy to get more involved in getting the club running.
As for suggestions for club name, if you havent chosen one already, what about
"SPANGLISH BIKERS"  well you did ask!
If any one is in and around ronda when im back, then please pop in for a cuppa i will post details as soon as im back, but its easy to find as its 2 min outside ronda, on the san pedro rd, and who knows if your lucky i might make you one of my famous bacon buttys as well.
in the mean time "keep ya bits flaping in the wind"
